A simple chorizo stew. Entire thing is in one pot, involves just adding new ingredients every few minutes without any fiddling, and after adding the stock you can just ignore it until it's done.

Stroganoff. Any recipe pretty much much. I've never had a bad stroganoff

Marinated grilled chicken. I either buy it already marinated, or I use a bottled marinade. Then, for sides I eat brown rice and beans. Those are easy because they're just boiled. I also like beef stew for an easy dish. Here's my usual recipe:
>brown cubes of beef chuck or shank
>remove, add chopped onions and celery, cook until translucent
>add flour and tomato paste, cook for 1 minute
>cover with water
>season with bouillon, salt, pepper, herbs etc.
>thicken with corn starch slurry if necessary
>add sliced carrots at the last 30 minutes of cooking
Beef stew is very easy to make once you get the hang of it. Just season it until it tastes right, thicken it until it has the right texture, and cook it until the meat is tender.

potato omelette, or rice omelette, or omelette sandwich.

Pizza is legitimately low effort if you have dough lying around. Because I bake bread anyways I usually just make a couple balls and toss em in the fridge. It's about fifteen minutes from the time I start rolling out the dough till it comes out of the oven, provided the dough is done in advance.

You're legally required to grab your junk, laugh, and say "mi chorizo" whenever you use this stuff.

At least that's what my cooks say.

taco shell sized white tortillas with ham kilbossa, smoked chicken, mayo, mustard, coarse diced iceberg, medium diced tomato, diced pickle, sliced olives, grated cheddar.

Lightly toast the tortilla, plate it, mayo, then meat, then lettuce, tomato, pickles, olives, 4 blend pepper, cheddar and wrap.

Takes about 3 minutes start to finish with all ingredients prepped. Lots of protein and nutrients and it keeps you regular.

Home made Mac and cheese.

>melt a knob of butter on a pan
>with low heat, gradually mix flour into it until you have something vaguely resembles playdough
>gradually mix with bits of milk until you get a sauce
>be generous in adding grated cheese
>add some English mustard
>cook for a while
>mix with pasta
>cook in oven with cheese on top if that's your thing

The difference between using flour roux and cornstarch coated cheddar is time. You need to cook the roux so it doesn't taste like dogshit. With cornstarch, it's already sweet. So it takes a 10th of the time to taste as good. It's a pick your starch situation on hobo food.
