At first I was like "HAHA!! I have 3 cans!!!" then I thought I shouldn't have any cans and be headed to the store for more.

What's the best way to eat canned sardines? I like them but they can be a little intense sometimes, between the grimy bones and the oiliness and extreme fishiness. Been flaking them up and putting them on water crackers and that's pretty good.

Yesterday I made toast with fried eggs and flaked sardines on top. Pretty good but still fishy.

I hate that mostly all brands smoke their shit. Ruins it for pasta.

Might go to Whole Foods to get my favorite sardines. They’re called “bela”. They’re from Portugal or Spain and they’re big.

Yesterday I had my deezs with a hunk of bloomer bread, a pat of butter, turkey slices, raw carrots, black pepper, and a black coffee.

It felt very wholesome.

I usually eat my deenz or other canned fish with rice. The only exception is tuna, which I only eat in sandwiches. Sardines also go well with French bread.

Where I live I can only find them is shitty olive oil (non-extra virgin) that makes 50% of the can, or in e.v. olive oil but they're 30€/kg and half of the weight is oil.

I buy them fresh, raw.

Anchovies are a heck of a lot more salty than sardines. A can of good sardines is excellent on a pizza and to me tastes just right. Doing the same with anchovies is way too salty for me.
