I’ve actually eaten stir fried bat in lombok (island next to bali). A local friend could only translate it as “night bird” so I didn’t think much of it. I only realised what it was when the dish arrived with the fucker’s head staring at me with a toothy grin. It wasn’t that delicious. Mostly bones. Not worth dying over.
