Not sure how to really describe these but if anyone has ever been to a Colombian restaurant and had the beans hopefully they can understand. I've been to a few different places and the beans can vary quite a bit but they're usually always really fucking good, very tender beans in a thick flavorful sauce, the perfect pairing for plain white rice to absorb up and just be lapped up into my mouth

how do i make this at home?

I prepare beans in a similar way
Let them soak overnight
Fry up some spices (onion, garlic, pepper, etc)
Add the beans, salt to taste and cover with water
Cook for 1 hour (or 20 minutes if you're using a pressure cooker) until the beans get soft
Make some roux with the beans sauce and mix it with the rest, thats what makes the concoction creamy
finish with some herbs

IDK about the spices, but the creamy sauce is easy. Soak beans, cook them at a simmer until done, mash them a tad with a potato masher to make the bean gravy.
