>What good shit do McDonald's outside USA have that Amerifats are missing out on?
There are whole blogs devoted to spotting these items, and it's part of tourism to pop into the local McDs while out of the country.

I think the most famous item is the option of the breaded cheese croquette patty. It's like a slab of a mozzarella stick deep fried. Various countries add it to the menu for a vegan item from Prague to Paris to Montreal (sometimes as a special item).

Isreal has a McShawarma and McKebab. I've had McCafe bubble tea in Vienna of all places where there was a lot of local pastries (if you see McCafe, that's where you'll most of the fun local desserts and fruit-smoothies, whether it is sour cherry or mango). Peru has some purple root milkshake or ice cream that was good. I think you'll see the most variation in the breakfast menus where local customs get added, and in the seasonal desserts and shake flavors. Prague has toblerone mcfluffy, for example. Various empanadas, cajeta (goats milk caramel) sundae, poutine, black bean molletes or gallo pinto beans and rice with plantains and natilla, chocolate hazelnut croissant, and some other baked goods.

Of course you'll see the Lobster Roll in the NE McDonalds seasonally in the US. Never had it but it's about $20 cheaper than a really fresh Lobster rolls with a gently placed whole claw on top from a specialty seafood restaurant.

$20 is cheap for a good lobster roll in Boston. That's the price at Amy's Roast Beef out on Revere Beach. If you go to a nice restaurant, you're looking at more like $40.

Ive heard they're cheap as hell in season up the coast in Maine though. But I don't eat them anymore, because lobsters are psychic.

The Pizza Mac? They sell those here in Northern Europe as well and are actually pretty good, for those who don't know it's basically a McDouble with a cheese bun and pizza sauce and emmental instead of cheddar. Figures that it's originally a German thing since you make those pizza burger abominations.

I went to a McDonald's in the United Arab Emirates a lot several decades ago. This was before they introduced the McArabia and falafel or shawarma dishes. At the time it was mostly the same shit they serve at McDonald's in the United States.

They also had numerous Pizza Huts, which understandably didn't use pepperoni or salami as condiments.
