how to achieve the strongest brew with french press? also how does brewing time affect the taste and strenght of the brew? i now do a tablespoon of ground beans about 250 ml of water and let it brew for 7 minutes and it tastes bland. what am i doing wrong

Coarse grind, Stir after you add water. Drop plunger to level of water and let it brew for 4 minutes unless you want a cup of acid. I use 2 tablespoons for a cup.

You probably mean how to strongly brew it hot, but if you're strictly concerned with strength you'd get a lot out of cold brewing for extract. Grind coarse preferably with a burr grinder for evenness, steep for 24+ hours in tbe fridge and you'll have a fuckton of caffeine that most people dilute 1-1 with water.

has it right. When you pour the water do it a little slower and cover all the grounds and then stir around the top so it gets a foaminess commonly called "bloom"
