I find cholula insufferable in anything that doesn't have other acidity in it. It's a good sauce, but it only fills this tiny niche as far as 'what is it good on'. I was going to say 'it's good on seafood' but I honestly prefer tobasco on things like stuffed clams.

well /ck/m after all these years, we finally did it : we have found the definitive, objective superior hot sauce. Pretty funny that it took us so many years when the answer was so obvious, right in front of our eyes in fact, but as befits proper scholars we had to make sure that doubt was no longer afforded. Sour not, you who naively supported a different "(n)hot sauce", your mistakes, though they will surely be thouroughly laughed at by the future generations as the ridiculous ravings they were, are as of yet forgiven. Embrace the thruth, and your sins will be washed off!

Janny, I suggest you pin this thread to the front page, a reminder of the, sometimes, great things that are achieved on this board. It might also deter trolls, shitposters and redditors to attempt to defile this now sacred board, envious as they are.

The only thing left for me to do now is to once again congragulate you all on this glorious day and, why, maybe enjoy me some tasty wings with the one and only TABASCO® BRAND HABANERO PEPPER SAUCE.

>> No.13486976

Just dropping by to say I hope you all understand it's a single autist trying to force the idea that having more than one hot sauce at home is soi. It bugs me enough to see someone force a meme, seeing them force a meme opinion is just disgusting.
Also Cholula is okay for general use but there are plenty of better sauces if you look for them

That Louisiana style one is amazing. I found it in a small green grocer here in Oz.

I want to make my own hot sauce but I can never get it exactly right. I dont want it too sweet, or heavy on vinegar.

I use hot sauce daily, mostly on mixed rice bowls (beans, veg, chicken, fresh herbs).

Usual hot sauces because of convenience
>franks
>valentinas
>la costena chipotles in adobo

Hate tabasco (the jalapeno or chipotle is tolerable but too much vinegar and salt for me)

It would be good if it was just peppers, vinegar, and salt like normal Tabasco. Instead, they add fruit and sugar. Fuck that. Real hot sauce is made from peppers, vinegar, and salt. Period.

Of all time, it's a local hot sauce that's roasted pepper and California reaper.
Right now though it's the mango one of these pictured.
It's fucking incredible as a salad dressing, and is a proper creeper on the burn... just had a banging salad smothered in it and my lips are tingling nicely.
It tastes slightly similar to the curry sauce you get in McDonalds but not shit.
