/ck/ what are your favorite potato chips? For me it has to be my pic, followed closely by the salt/pepper from the same brand.

Anything that isn't Lays or the "chips" that are Pringles.
Currently munching on a bag of white truffle sea salt potato chips. Before that I had a bag of black truffle. I almost got a bag of dark russet but I've been burned on chips that look good but turn out to taste like fucking soot.
It really depends on what's on sale in the nearby stores and if I have a couple extra bucks.

Although not gonna lie as a kid I fucking loved Ketchup Potato Chips, Old Bay/Crab Fries Potato Chips, and one of the meat-flavored potato chips but I forget which one (probably ribs?).

If I'm paying the same price for the same amount of chips I might as well get the better brand or more fancy kind of chips.
I'm annoyed that all the stores in my city seem to have stopped selling the One Potato Two Potato brand BBQ chips. They still sell the sea salt though. Just not the BBQ.

Not him but the fun thing is when you're raised by Italian parents so you know of gravy, gravy, and gravy and if context doesn't allow you have to specify what kind of gravy you're talking about.
Gravy is a tomato-based stuff poured over pasta. This is what I'm used to thinking of when I hear someone say "gravy."
Gravy is usually beef, chicken, pork, or turkey gravy. If done right its good shit. If not it is bland and really needs something mixed in. Worst kind is when its watery. Fuck that.
Gravy is the white shit that you are never sure if you like because it looks weird to you but it has a slight kick from the black pepper. Goes nicely on sausage or chicken fried steak.

When potatoes are stored they build up a higher content of sugar. These potatoes are sliced and fried into chips and they tend to turn dark. They are not burnt, have a sweeter taste and are called Rainbow Chips.
