Livestock are the single most damaging thing on the planet- if we eat less livestock, we'll need much less farmland to feed them. This farmland can be reclaimed for old growth forests that form the backbone of local ecology. Healthy local ecology stabilizes the planet for everyone in more ways than you can imagine.

But fuck cows taste so fucking good dude.

>Livestock are the single most damaging thing on the planet
>mah cows
Overgrazing of goat and sheep have expanded deserts drastically. Cattle can be fed off of land and plants not suitable for human consumption, without destroying it. However, we overdo it because we insist on eating 10 oz steaks at low low prices for dinner, then having more meat throughout the day.

Realistically, the planet is overpopulated if we want to have a balanced diet, and not one scientifically prescribed to us that we trust is being manufactured in all honesty. War and disease used to keep us in check.

It's healthy, good for the environment, kills only a fraction of animals that would otherwise die for an omnivore diet and it makes /pol/tards seethe.

So cows ... eating grass ... On "grass"land ... that God LITERALLY made for cows .. that cows/elk/bison have been on for millions of years .... This is tremendously harmful.

This is how stupid vegans are.

just because you care about animal welfare. most other arguments in favor of veganism are flawed. lab-grown meat is probably going to help animals more though since a lot of people who say they won't eat vegan have been saying they'll eat that instead because the thought of animals needing to die for them to eat isn't something that really makes them happy.

This is called "pure retardation." It is true that beef and lamb are over-produced, but this is to provide free food for Africa, and to feed all of Asia as well (at least they pay)

The west cannot possibly consume all the meat we produce, so (((our government))) has to literally give it away for free, to migrants and other undesirables.

But keep lying and blaming it on whites.
