Im a wagecuck and this takes up so much time at the end of my shift.
I was thinking a type of fishing net would be good

We have a mini one of those but its so inefficient imo and its really ineffective because the debris floats away when u come close so it takes 20 scoops and every time u hav to knock the debris into the bin

create a whirlpool with a wooden spoon and let it feed it into the strainer. get a bigger strainer

If it's hot, a slotted spoon, or a metal spider might be good enough for large debris, and a fine mesh metal strainer for the rest. They're not expensive and even come in large sizes, large enough to drain lettuce. Those handles and the larger size would make short work of filtering all of it without actually removing all the oil and passing it through the filter.

Get a bigger one, they aren't expensive

You're supposed to have a pump that sucks up the oil and filters it.
