You know that the series started off in the UK and Europe right

that series is a million times better, it's borderline nauseating how the American show is edited and shot like there's so much emphasis on like family drama and couples wanting to get divorced and all sorts of Dr Phil bullshit when the UK show is really about the food. I can't stand how there's all these over the top audio cues for when something dramatic happens they need to have like a full orchestra blaring may as well add gunshot noises.

There was one black lady in the UK whose food that he liked, she made southern soul food or something, he actually cleaned the plate and made a big thing of showing her how much he liked the food. Other than that there's sometimes one or two food items that he likes in a restaurant and they're like cooked by the dishwasher or someone rarely ever the head chef.
