yummy 6g of carbs, mostly sugar, in the equivalent of one egg
can’t wait for the fda to finally get rid of the “nutritionally irrelevant” per serving rule and these companies get their asses fucked

But why are they doing this? Is it really just late stage capitalism? Are all of our traditional foods going to be phased out and replaced by this factory produced science experiment stuff? How are the future generations going to be affected by the consequences of these decisions?

People simply don't want to contribute to the animal husbandry industry.

We all gotta live, we all gotta draw the line somewhere. Some don't eat Foie Gras, some don't eat eggs.

Ok, fine.
It's mostly efficiency. Pick one up for breakfast instead of cooking or going out, take some for during the work day. I went to a Soylent-sponsored hackathon, people who wanted to grind code instead of taking breaks had em often. JUST is just a variation of this trend.
Of course, I for one think siting down to enjoy actual food is a lost art, and that drinking soymilk for every meal is a joyless way to go through life.

Phytoestrogens are hardly relevant, infants raised on soy formula have no statistically relevant differences in sex differentiation compared to cow milk formula.

If you want to complain about something, complain about goitrogenic effects. Those are actually somewhat relevant.
