What I don't get is Red Wine is healthy for you in moderation yet even if you drink Cola in moderation it's never healthy for you. Why can people under 18 buy Cola which is always bad for their health yet can't buy Red Wine which is good for them in moderation?
Cola HAS NO health benefits
Red Wine HAS health benefits (In moderation)

first, healthy =/= good =/= profitable =/= legal =/= cultural relevance, you'd know this if you were doing your homework instead of wasting time you little shit
second, the adverse effects of alcohol abuse are not the same in children and adults, but for obesity it is

you've made an uncompelling shitpost based on two declarations that while, to some sort of lobotomized chimp, may seem to indicate hypocritical or inconsistent regulation by governing bodies only represents the shallowness of your founding assertions. this could be embarrassing for you were it not intentional, but it is so instead it's merely annoying and distracting for us -- the trolled participants.

The law isn't made to protect you from substances, it's made to protect other people from how the substances effect you. Ideally. Which in the case of second hand smokers, it doesn't make any sense.
The truth is that substance laws will never make any sense and it's no skin off of most people's back if you break a rule here and there.

OP, your critical thinking skills are lacking. It's a simpleton kind of fake logical argument. All fallacy. Maybe your brain is underdeveloped, or you're under the age of 25, and male, and it's clearly a frontal lobe issue.

Alcohol has been shown to be cardioprotective in small amounts, and by moderate, 1/day. At most, 1.5 a day. It's the blood thinning action. Dropping stress is excellent too. There's no more antioxidants in it, than grape juice, which you could drink instead. But, alcohol is a poison that needs to be metabolized, and it does kills brain cells, something a developing youth doesn't need as much as someone who is an adult.

No one drives a car on coca-cola to detriment, caffeine is proven to increase alertness. But, since a youth with an underdeveloped brain, and no ability to make good decisions when not under the influence of a drug that slows reaction time and inhibitions, yea, it should be restricted until your judgement improves enough to think about moderation being a good thing. You know, so you don't kill yourself by overindulging or doing stupid things. The only thing wrong with liquid calories is they are quite easy going down, and devoid of maybe other sources of nutrition in different liquids. That's only an issue if you don't exercise and have pretty restricted caloric maximums daily, so yea, an overall lifestyle issue. Carbonic acid and carbonation might erode your teeth or pull calcium out of your bones, but hey, just be smart overall.

(You) are now aware that the guy who wrote the "study" that shows red wine is good for you made the whole thing up to help his wife who had recently purchased a winery.

All the "health" benefits of red wine or any wine are made up.
