Prepper here. Can't be fucked to cook more than once a week other than 2 scrambled eggs every morning. 2 days of food goes in the fridge, everything else in the freezer. Pull lunch/dinner for next day out the night before and let it thaw in the fridge. Otherwise I'd be doing what I did before, eating shitty fast food and spending ~$20 a day on food. Gonna buy some glass containers instead of these shitty plastic ones now that I've stuck with it for a while.

At the very least it's better than eating out every single day multiple times a day because "you don't have time" or "don't feel like it." But it's also really not that bad. There are plenty of things you can do to make it better. Only prep for 3-4 days ahead at a time, use varied meals, use proper or even excessive seasoning to account for the delay. Some things hold much better than others, and some things can be frozen with no downsides. You can easily apply seasonings and sauces at the time of eating.

/ck/ is just full of people who see food as an addiction and don't care about health. There are plenty of /fit/ methods and recipes that are compatible with taste, not that anyone here cares. At least you're not as bad as /fa/ in this area.

It's perfectly fine eating. I'm not trying to eat a 5 star dish every meal. I'm just trying to eat healthier and stop spending so much money. I think you're trying to compare eating these meals with freshly cooked something or other when you should be comparing them to eating fast food fried chicken/burgers and fries.

My guess is that the people who do meal prep and for whom meal prep works don;t really have much of a palate. Constant unseasoned chicken in every since pic makes me think that these people just really aren't all that interested in food and just want the convenience of having it made efficiently, they give 0 shits about flavour or variety.

The world really has gone to shit when people don't even care about eating nice tasting food anymore.
