How do I improve my ramen and get closer to the coveted perfect ramen?

Add egg, add soy sauce (fuck off its used here), add chicken or beef broth or even pho broth. Add slices of meat that are precooked and just need to soak in the broth for a bit. Add veggies of choice.

This isn't hard.

Soft-boiled egg with a slightly drippy yolk. A tiny splash of sesame oil in the broth. Don't haphazardly cut the chicken, rather cut it into even strips against the grain. Dark meat is more flavourful. Bonito flakes are the best topping. Serve with pickled radish.

There is a type of ramen known as Tsukemen (つけ麺 ) which means ‘dipping ramen’
Soft boiled egg is often served with it but on the side. You pick it up with chopsticks and dip it in the broth.
But yes, in real Japanese cuisine the egg is never served actually in the ramen.
It’s a misconception that comes from mainstream anime and manga.

Go suck an egg, you vitamin-deficient mongoloid.
>>13336000
That's the idea. Leaving a soft-boiled egg in the broth for too long will usually harden the yolk, which kind of defeats the appeal.
