Rolls are really popular here in Australia, especially in kids lunchboxes. Bagels are more seen as a novelty, the sort of thing you'd buy at a fair or a non-chain bakery or something like that.

Rolls every time. I never made the jump from donuts to bagels, and I don't even like donuts that much. Bagels are too goddamned much chewing for the payoff.
