In general, no, if you're working two jobs or juggling a job and school, you don't have the time to go to the store more than once a week, especially if you don't live really close to the store. You might go twice a month, which means when you do go, you need to consider longevity and storage, as well as how long it's going to take to cook because when you get home from working two jobs, you don't want to spend hours in the kitchen. What you really want to do is just slam something in the microwave.
You also should keep in mind that grocery stores have disappeared from the poorest places in America. For many places, the only place to buy food is a dollar store. Dollar stores don't stock a lot of fresh vegetables.
