It's a gift shop with a restaurant attached.

>> No.13312214

I remember going there once during an elementary school field trip, it was a fun little touristy thing to do, that's all it is though, everyone knows it's shit food at ridiculous prices

Do they serve vegan food though?

The food there isn't bad. Very expensive though. I still like a dining experience there as much as I did as a kid, the difference is I just sit at the bar and have a drink with it now.

All I remember of this place from my high school senior trip to Disney World is everyone in our group yelling "VOLCANOOOOO!" whenever they brought out the big chocolate volcano dessert for somebody in the restaurant.

The next day we all took humongous shits because we hadn't had time to poop the first couple days of our trip, so we could hear each other yelling "VOLCANOOOOO!" through the bathroom walls.

Every 22 minutes. Based on a typical 45 minute table turn, the kids saw the show twice.

Employee xover was actually lower than most other chain shithole restos. FOH averaged 150ish pct, BOH was quite low.

Never heard of this, we had a Kahunaville in our Mall as a kid. Looks like the same sort of shit. Had an arcade and weird animatronic turtles at the entrance like gatekeeper style, inside decked out tropically/jungley.

This.

Food was just okay and not worth the inflated prices. You go for the ambiance and that's it.

They're owned by Landry's. Landry's is mostly seafood, but also does steakhouses. They are in Houston, and the leadership team is as Texan-shit kicker-hillbilly as you can imagine. To them, vegan is some namby-pamby bullshit.
