"tea set" is the pot and cups and other accoutrements that are used to serve tea.
Probably not something she needs if she doesn't already enjoy tea.

Do you know what teas she likes or certain flavors she prefers in general? I like Genmaicha and Oolong but I enjoy the toasted notes of those. Trankebar is pretty good and doesn't skimp on quality ingredients. This one's a black tea that's floral, marshmallowy and savory sweet like a rhubarb pie.

Try earl grey with lavender. Add a drop of milk and you've got a beautifully floral cuppa.

Twinnings Earl Grey (I decaf everything... caffeine gives me anxiety). Sleepytime tea by Celestial seasonings. Believe it or not but Walmart Great Value black tea is really good.

There's hundreds of teas and they cover pretty much every flavour imaginable. I like licorice teas because they're flavorful, less bitter and go well with honey. Buy one of the big sampler boxes where every bag is a different flavour, and narrow it down from there

>> No.13307927

for me, it's sencha: the standard by which all other teas are judged
dragonwell green tea is also great
also keen on pu-erh (has a few different spellings but some sort of fermented goodness)
jasmine, gunpowder are also fine but not top tier

in general, be sure not to over steep (greens get 1 to 3 min). also use water just below boiling.

yerba mate is a nice non-tea tea. (not sure what it is but don't think it's a "true" tea)

hit up your local hippy herb store (you do have one, don't you?). they usually have some nice blends

If you're such a Burger you don't know how to get into Bong style tea then there's not much point giving you any advice but "buy some stuff from twinings, I guess".
Otherwise:
go on yunnansourcing.com and buy a few packets of the cheap teas they've got there. Get some oolong, some black tea, some white and green if you want (even though it's not the best place to buy those). It all tastes good and it all tastes better than anything you could get from, say, Twinings.

Im a Britbong and I have no fucking idea why Earl Grey is such an iconic British tea. To me it tastes like toilet cleaner has been added to tea.

Twinnings has lots of great teas. Chai's, English breakfast are must haves.

English Breakfast is maybe the only tea worse than Earl Grey. At least Earl Grey has an identifiable flavour.
Assam is the best Bong brew.

If she's younger and more likely to like fruity or sweeter tasting teas, there's a lot by celestial seasonings that are pretty good for not bad prices. Favorite tea of all time is Piper and Leafs stuff near me. Is a cute local joint but they have an online store

just want to say that i think not having enough father bonding time during childhood creates all sorts of issues later in life

im not a woman.. but im homosex
and i do admit i'm drawn to older men

but its probably some repressed desire for the father-son time i never got to have..growing up i used to be very envious of my friends who went fishing/hunting/outdoors with their dads
