Depends, if you buy it from the store it's a tad bitter for me. I make it myself. I soak the soybeans for a night first, then pressure steam them. Let them cool to room temp, then inoculate them with tempeh starter. The result is a good quality tempeh. It's nutty, nice texture, it really crisps up nicely too. I prefer it over tofu or seitan.

Hello OP! Today I ate a bean burrito before work with a slice of mock cheese on it, Chao brand. Then I had some pizza with spinach, mushrooms, olives and nutritional yeast. I don't think I will be having anything else today. Did you have a nice Thanksgiving? My gf made a kind of seitan roast and it was pretty good! I made apple turnovers, green bean casserole, roasted fingerling potatoes, stuffing, and sweet potato casserole.
