You can definitely register positive on less than several ounces. It varies a LOT between even individual harvests from the same region.
I'm an RN and did some very unscientific testing of my own since I had access to urine tests anyway. Sometimes I'd be positive from eating two "rundstykker" (pic related) the day before. Other times I could eat several tablespoonfuls of poppyseeds and get a negative.
You're definitely at risk of a false positive if you eat something like >>13294914 but it's not a sure thing.

For all I know it's because of the tests being inaccurate. Maybe you can sometimes shoot H the night before and get a negative result as well. I haven't tried that.

Depends on the supplier and how thoroughly washed the seeds are before packaging. When I was doing it a few years back there was a certain commercial brand I used that would get me results on those numbers.
And one thing I noticed that that brand was ALWAYS in high demand, I'd have to visit different supermarkets at times as they would sell out. I wasn't the only one doing it.
