How do you like your stuffed bread? For me its gotta be cheese, olives, mushrooms, onions, and sausage.

The only thing Americans eat close to that is stromboli.

Terrible LARP, or just an idiot. Calzones, pastries, etc. We eat tons of stuffed bread. Hell, some of our most famous snack foods (Twinkies, for one) are stuffed bread.

Are stuffed breads high in calories?

Pastries are not what he is talking about and a calzone is a pocket pie also called a empanada or pasty which is different from "stuffed bread."

A twinkie is short cake with a cream filling. It isn't a bread.

Pepperoni rolls are almost West Virginia's state snack food. You can walk into just about any grocery store in the US and find cheese and pepper stuffed breads. You're mincing words because you talked yourself into a corner and refuse to admit you're wrong.

Don't be a manchild.

Okay, I guess I was wrong. Flyover scum eat stuffed bread, which I guess explains the obesity epidemic.

You are getting too mad about this. I had completely forgotten about pepperoni rolls because they are regional. I was talking about America in general.

A cake, a pastry, and a pie are not breads. It isn't goalposting moving. Many of them might come out of a bakery but that doesn't make them all breads.

Several things listed in this thread are breads and not any of those other things you listed. Get a clue, kiddo.

Texan here that started making ghetto (using pillsbury crescent dough) meatbread often. I'll add italian sausage for dinner or breakfast sausage for earlier. Will season with garlic powder, black pepper and mix italian seasoning as well as using italian mix cheese. good stuff.

I do this to make cheapie pigs in a blanket. Find a decent sausage, roll it up in a crescent roll that's been slightly stretched out, brush the tops with egg wash and sprinkle on sesame seeds, then bake. I dip mine in spicy mustard but it can also be nice to use a little nacho cheese spiked with sambal.

This thing called "fish cock" is a traditional dish in my region - basically it's fish and pork stuffed inside a rye bread that's baked for ~6 hours on low heat. It has pretty good nutritional values and tastes great, although I might be biased since I grew up eating this all the time.
