My mom called these things Pot Stickers when I was growing up. Whatever they are I think they might be the most perfect food in the world. You can fill them with anything savory or sweet and every culture seems to have their own version. I have started to make it a christmas tradition to make some homemade ones and they are a hit at the family gathering.

why? do you think people on an imageboard are somehow better cooks than the recipes posted with 2,000 reviews?

Sorry I'm no expert cook, I just copied Chef Johns recipe. I did add a bit more garlic because I really like it and I also added a bit of nutmeg and a dash of worcestershire. They really came out incredibly juicy and flavorful. If you like heat you could easily add in some peppers of your choice for a nice kick.

It's a quasi-Jewish tradition, because Chinese food places are the only things open on Christmas day/eve.

More like getting blitzed on xmas eve with family, but nobody feels like cooking

I'm actually a heeb, so my opinion is probably partially biased because I've quite literally never celebrated Christmas.

I hate potstickers, greasy and slimy and the filling tastes like filth.

Don't you feel a little empty inside during that time, I mean in a left out sense like the kid in high school who can't even fit into the rebellious clique? It's so ungodly pervasive at that time of year, due ironically to your (((compatriots))) commercialization of it.
