You're certainly entitled to your opinion. I'm a fairly well seasoned traveler and have tried all sorts of regional pizza in the USA as well as around the world, and nothing beats NY Pizza for me. Brooklyn(particularly benson, also Gravesend) and Queens (fresh meadows, woodside) have the best pizza.

Really depends on which one you use. The one we use regularly is great, we tried another one when our regular one randomly decided we were out of the delivery range for 3 months and it was... sad. Pizza was suddenly super greasy, steak on the steak sub was black. It was weird.

Jet's has the most flavorful sauce of any pizza, and their dough is made fresh every day. Cheese is decent quality and extra melty and stretchy because it's shredded in store and bought by the block, not pre shredded bags like many places.

Good pizza doesn't need those gimmicks, but I liked the old Dominos garlic crust. Their pizza quality has gone down from decent enough to garbage even if you're drunk. Kind of sad, because it was fun to get some Dominos every once in awhile.

What about CT/New Haven pizza. I'd say it's pretty good. I enjoyed pizza in NYC, too. I did deep dish in Chicago for the fun of it and did not like it, but I realize it's just a tourist trap thing. I just really don't like bready pizza, so I don't usually like pizza that isn't NYC/tristate area style.
