It's basically deep fried bread. The dough is made with yeast, flour and mashed potatoes. It's fluffy on the inside and a slight crispiness on the outside edges. And of course it can be greasy. it's basically a street food. Hard to find a swimming pool that doesn't have a langos stand. And Hungary has a lot of swimming pools supplied by natural hot springs.

Popular toppings are diced garlic (or you can rub a garlic clove on it), sour cream, shredded cheese, ketchup, or a combo of those. As a kid I'd get the ketchup and cheese but I prefer sour cream nowadays. I really miss it and I should probably make some sometime.
