When did you grow out of coffee? Personally, I luckily never started drinking this bitter broth, but more and more people are waking up: This stuff is just nasty!
The addiction, the headaches, the bitter taste you have to get used to like cigarettes, the stomach cancer, the repulsive coffee breath, the shakes etc.
Coffee drinkers can be divided up into two groups: The weirdly feminine coffee enthusiasts and the zombies that rely on it to just function like a normal human being

>In summary, this dose–response meta-analysis suggests that coffee consumption is not associated with a significantly elevated risk of gastric cancer. As the coffee is one of the most frequently consumed beverages around the world especially for Western countries, the US population should avoid high coffee consumption since they may be more susceptible to the adverse effects of high consumption of coffee more than 6.5cups/day.

Anon-kun, that means the opposite of what you're trying to argue.
>adverse effects of high consumption of coffee more than 6.5cups/day.
Yes anon, it's generally better not to overdo things. Although even that isn't consistent depending on which study or analysis you're looking at, as your own link points out:
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4635778/
>Association between coffee consumption and gastric cancer risk remains controversial.
Here, have a different link:
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/27440694
>All epidemiologic studies regarding coffee consumption and gastric cancer risk were selected, and relative risks (RRs) with 95% confidence intervals (CIs) were calculated.
>Twenty two studies (9 cohort and 13 case-control studies) involving 7,631 cases and 1,019,693 controls were included. The summary RR of gastric cancer was 0.94 (95% CI: 0.80-1.10) for the highest category of coffee consumption compared with the lowest category, and 0.93 (95% CI: 0.88-0.99) for coffee drinkers compared with nondrinkers.
>Our meta-analysis suggested that coffee consumption might be associated with a decreased risk of gastric cancer.

The chart is not related to the discussion. It shows amount of coffee sold total. Not per capita or a comparison of people who do or don't drink it. It is a really flat increase and could be due purely to population growth. It may even be decreasing as compared to population growth but that's purely speculation because the chart doesn't say much.

I've been drinking coffee more or less daily since I was 15 (28 now). When I don't have it or am traveling and don't want the stimulation, I never have headaches or any problems like people talk about. I've drank it for a couple years daily, then just not for a few weeks and nothing changed. I didn't dose caffeinated soda or anything either in place. For me, just coffee and creamer.

by far, the biggest issue with coffee, is the effects on teeth. I have to spend probably 3X as much as a normal person to keep my teeth more white than yellow
