I always wanted to have a lot of those cheese wheels like the ones on skyrim.

irl those things are expensive as fuck, but I would love to cut a slice every morning to eat with my toasts.

They're honestly not that expensive if you consider that hard varieties will last almost forever at room temp. Just make sure you like what you're getting.
It's $60-$200 but it's also a near unlimited supply of your favorite food.

Food culture is honestly not well represented in these games, before Skyrim edible items were simply extra clutter you'd horde and either sell off or use in alchemy. Skyrim tried to expand on it by making it resemble closer to what I believe is 14th-15th century anglo-saxon, but it's not very coherent and ends up still being completely pointless to grab. Neither is the fact that in order to make 90% of the dishes you need to toss in an entire bowl of salt on it, makes no fucking sense.

The funny thing is that cooking is relatively simple, and only intentionally becomes complicated. Tons of other MMOs had food effects before Skyrim, and I am sure there were survival games that were more accurate in creation and use, but I agree that most games ignore or half-ass anything food related. Indigestion and diarrhea debuffs are likely a hard sell to game designers who aren't making a survival game, so I think food mattering more in vidya is still a ways off.

You realize the majority of the UK’s population can still be classified as Anglo-Saxon right? He’s wrong because it’s based on Nordic culture(which arguably the Anglo Saxons share a little bit of) but Anglo Saxons definitely existed in the 15th century

Anglo Saxon was a purely tribal cultural classification, not a race (which was Germanic in this instance). Anglo Saxon culture no longer existed after the 12th century.
