I'm going to thoroughly hurt whoever cooked that, and thought it was okay to serve.

Check on YouTube. You'll get precise, detailed instructions and invaluable tips. I don't even eat meat, and haven't cooked it in years.

>> No.13132880

You ruined it.

Looks cheap anyway. Just smother it in A1 and I'd be fine eating it

you're brain damaged too. just because you feel differently, doesn't mean that people who disagree with you are 'baiting'. by which i take it you mean that i am not sincere.

yes, i like to grill up a fuck ton of beef, and i eat it with fucking ketchup. i particularly like the very thin cut steaks you get in big packs.

Thank you, my friend. I don't typically like well-done steak, but I'm grateful for the food and your hospitality, so I'll enjoy.

No 'chup? You need 'chup when you ruin meat, ok?

Love it. Not making fun of the typo that’s just a genuinely beautiful thought.

>pat your steak dry with a paper towel if the surface is too wet
>heat a pan on high heat
>add a splash of oil (canola or groundnut are the best)
>when the oil starts smoking, place the steak in the pan
>cook 3-5 minutes per side depending on the thickness
>take off the steak
>let it rest at least 10 minutes before eating
to be safe, you can buy a probe thermometer. they are pretty cheap now.
rare is 120-130°F
medium rare is 130-140°F
medium is 140-150°F
more or less

I've seen people eating way worse steaks, at least that one still has a hint of pink

>> No.13133137

>>13133098
it's basically the same except you put it on a very hot grill instead of a pan.
If the steak is particularly thick you can cook it on indirect heat (not directly above the coals) for a few minutes

Vaccum seal with butter, garlic, thyme and put into sous vide at 131 for 2 hours. Remove from bag, pat dry, then sear with torch on all sides.
