I know this is pretty uncultured American of me but I would rather eat a Betty Crocker "yellow" cake with chocolate icing and a glass of whole milk than a tiramisu. I'll grant that tiramisu is certainly higher quality and still delicious, and goes better with coffee.

I also eat Little Caesar's regularly desu.

I feel you. I've been to a lot of expensive restaraunts because of work in the last couple years and no matter what I try (boring stuff, exotic stuff, doesn't matter) I can't help but prefer a fucking McChicken over pretty much anything I've had at these places. The only things that comes close are basically just various flavors of butter (goddamn do those places love butter: bet my home cooking would be good too if I used a cup of butter for every fucking serving).

Personally I'm glad that my palette genuinely prefers cheap garbage. My hobbies are expensive. Plus, I don't have to sound like some cunt at every party.
