Why do people pretend to hate Denny's? I've never had it, but doing some online research, their food seems like normal breakfast food

It's like White Castle.
Amazing when drunk & 2am, kinda gross when sober.

But how is it gross when it's just eggs, bacon, and potatoes

This. It's just diner food man.

There's nothing wrong with the food in a nice Denny's, but most of them are dingy shacks in bad neighborhoods and are full of junkies and smelly homeless people

It's a little worse than IHOP and much worse than waffle house

This. It is actually quite costly for what it is. A cup of coffee at Denny's is almost 3 bucks. No thanks.

I’ve eaten 3 times at the Chain, all different locations in different years. Every time I’ve had Vietnam flashback shits that fill the room with a horrid stench. No thanks

>> No.13042841

it's shit tier and how do you even fuck up breakfast food? it's just eggs, toast and pancakes

Ever had poorly cooked eggs, bacon & potatoes served to you by people who have generally given up on life?
It's slightly worse than that.
When you're drunk, you don't care.

Because waffle house is the superior and cheaper 2am breakfast

i used to drive back and forth across the country a lot for work (not a trucker, just an old timey smuggler) and denny's has been a godsend for me on more than one occasion. there are a lot of places in the US where you would have to straight up drive for a couple hours to find a "restaurant" that will actually crack an egg. it really is just middling-quality diner food, but it is definitely a standout for me among the other essential american corporatized highwayman fare.
