Why did it have to stop bros? It was so comfy and yet intense with strong voice dubs at rapid pace so you couldn't fall behind. These days most cooking shows I can watch are boring, If its just showing a recipe than I can just look in a book instead or if its a competition then it might be better, but its really ticks me off if the music is over the top and the judges just drivel for hours like they're giving some philosophy thesis which seems to be getting more and more common.

Iron Chef (japan) had SOUL. Distinct personalities and styles of cuisine with the odd bit of funny bits here and there. A solid camera crew and great ingredients. Can anyone give me an idea of a show that can come even close to home like IC did?

yeah it really sparked a love of both cooking and 'retro' asian movies and tv shows for me. it's easy to find a lot of episodes on youtube, but it is tough to find the complete catalogue.
