It's mushroom season. Picked up these 30mins ago, there was a lot more, but this was more than enough for the day.

Tired of soups and sauces. What should I use them for? They're yellowfoots/funnel chanterelles.

Get a dry skillet, cook out on medium-low heat the moisture you uneccessarily just added by rinsing them, once they're nice and dry and you start seeing fond form. Add olive oil and garlic, maybe some parsley and red pepper, then add a ladleful of pasta water from the pasta you're boiling with it to make a light sauce and serve with the pasta. It's fucking gr8m8.
