It's up to you to change your diet. If you find the motivation and willpower inside yourself, you can drop the weight! Here are some example meals that helped me lose weight. You can still eat good foods, but shrink your portions.
Breakfast
>Nonfat yogurt with half a bagel. Put neufchatel cheese on it. Black coffee as a side
>Apple and an orange with a glass of unsweetened almond milk. Mix some ovaltine in the milk.
>Steamed broccoli with 2 eggs
Lunch
>Cut up fresh bell pepper, radish, and carrots to dip in hummus. Also some fruit
>Bring one of those pre-made salads from the grocery store. They're usually under 300 cal
Dinner
>4oz any meat (weigh raw) with a side of steamed vegetables. Lots of different options here

Same but I am in my first year of uni and am losing the weight. Down 90 pounds and need 45 more to get down to a weight I will be happy at. If there's any advice I can give you its just that you need motivation for the first month and then you will naturally build discipline. If you are like me then once you build the discipline you will go more or less on auto pilot when it comes to food and binging will become a non issue.

Making your own food and trying to calculate calories is a waste of time when you are obese. Eat meals from fast food and restaurants that tell you exactly how many calories they contain. Only snacks should be ~0 calorie veggies. Taking guesswork and meal logging out of the equation makes losing fat 10x easier.
