no no no no no no no

curry CANNOT keep, especially if you use coconut milk in it

and also 2 weeks is way too long for any cooked dish in the fridge

>> No.12976619

>>12976611
yes I did use coconut milk, thanks for the info.
the idea is that i was making it in a giant pot to eat for a prolonged period of time and would freeze / unfreeze as necessary but I ended up just keeping it in the fridge. will just make a smaller portion every week or so from now.

curry is notorious for spoiling fast. I will not even store it past 1-2 days.in the fridge. If you want to cook like a weeks worth you should freeze individual portions.

>> No.12976648

Don't eat it you fucked up how come you didn't eat it right away?

>"The time curry lasts in the fridge depends on the kind of gravy. If it is coconut based gravy, it is advisable to use it within a day or two max especially if you have kept the curry outside for sometime before putting it in the fridge."

Don't, the risk is simply not worth it

This. There's a little wiggle room, but most people are retarded and don't know how to look at and smell their food to tell if it's gone off, so 7 days is a good rule to follow. Unless you fermented your curry it's certainly gone bad after 2 weeks.

>> No.12978191

The spices make it harder to smell if it's gone bad. I would not risk it, you will probably not die but why risk diarhea? Just bin it, order something or go one night without food.
