About a month ago I ate almost an entire deep dish pizza from little caesar's. Woke up at 3am that morning and proceded to vomit it all out. I was quite suprised by how much of the pepperoni and mushrooms were still whole. I don't ever remember swallowing 5 whole mushroom slices. I guess the pizza was just that good.

I used to work at a small retail store that was known for selling kombucha and other fermented goods and on the side we would sell animal products such as eggs and meat. Every now and then this random dude who had a bald head and long beard would come in and rant about what the egg industry should be feeding their chickens. He would always corner the people at the front to listen to his trite on why corn was absolutely ridiculous to feed to chickens. I guess his passion was interesting but holy shit was he loud in our rather small store. He wasn't yelling, but speaking loudly and would move very frantically. He would always buy a lot of eggs when he would come since he approved of the way the chickens of our provider were taken care of, which was good, but I'm still not sure if he was on drugs every time he came in. He was just so weird. He always came in early in the morning so he never disturbed other customers, which is good I guess.

We also had another customer who would shop during summers with her kids and would sit at our kombucha and broth bar that for some reason would make her children take off all their clothes before they started eating/drinking. Really freaking weird. The staff didn't know what to do about it for the first summer, and everyone thought they were gone after the first summer but they came back next summer, which was a problem as the traffic in the store tripled and the other customers felt uncomfortable seeing the kids undress and eat. We had a manager take care of it and tell the woman that her kids needed to keep their clothes on. I left that summer so, I don't know if they came back.

Worked at a Starbucks where we regularly decaffed customers, some employees occasionally spit in drinks, and one manager once wiped a customers frozen sandwich on his ass before cooking it.

Worked at a fine dining restaurant where cocaine was regularly abused by the entire line after service every night and even during service on some holidays.

Worked at a pretty boring but highly regarded Italian restaurant where employees job security was regularly threatened and line cooks were coerced into working off the clock.

Alcohol abuse rampant in most of the places I’ve worked. I don’t think anything I just wrote is very special though if you’ve been in the industry.

I mean believe what you will but I’m not lying lol. It was a drive thru store and we kept all the breakfast sandwiches in a fridge under the counter by the drive thru. The lunch sandwiches were in the grab and go case.
I also worked in a few store with an older less open design and it was very easy to get away with spitting in drinks if you wanted too. Especially the blended drinks.

Regulars they despised. People they knew outside of work they didn’t like.

One instance it was this fat bitch ordering frappuccinos for her whole lardlass clan, each with a million modifiers, while we had a line out the door at peak time during Frappuccino happy hour (this was during the second year they did that promo).

Lots of the people I worked with were jaded and had consequences-be-damned attitudes but damn could they crank drinks.

I worked at a McDonalds that wasn't 24 hours. Because I worked front cash register, I was taught how to close the lobby and that includes the bathrooms.

The guy teaching me covered everything like locking the doors, cleaning the windows, cleaning the tables, mopping, and cleaning the men's bathroom. I asked if I had to do anything different when cleaning the women's bathroom and his response killed me, "Oh those? Yeah, I just don't do that."

Was a simple concept, order and then pick up food at another counter.

Guy orders a salad, sandwich, walks over, tells us he forgot to tell the cashier he wanted dressing on the side. He repeated the phrase "dressing on the side" about 15 times before I guess coming to and just walked away. Probably witnessed the beginning of the end of an Alzheimers riddled brained person.

One time when I was at Denny's some woman was complaining that she never got her food, what I could gather was that she thought it was like a Chinese fast food place or little caesar's where it's all on warming trays and didn't understand the concept of waiting for her food to be cooked after being ordered. That reminds me. When I was in highschool my town's Chipotle-clone local chain hired a pair of blonde white girl twins that went to my school. They did that thing twins sometimes do where they dress kinda similar but with like different colors or something, and they both always had they're hair tied back in a ponytail with matching ribbons.
