Somebody was telling me the story behind the modern presence of grey goose. That it was a failing business, making cheap shitty vodka like Glens which you find in the UK. It was until an investor bought up the company for £1m (or whatever) and began rebranding. Crates and bottles now proudly displayed "Made in France" and the marketing was more aggressive towards high end despite the low quality. And guess what? The recipe is still that largely unchanged cheap shit, but sold at an extortionate price and ever popular.
That's good business.

Grey Goose is totally worth the price for its lovely ethanol and water notes.

Titos. Better than that expensive crap. Made in Texas, smooth and good tasting. About $30 a bottle

Illegal in america.
We also ruled that zubrowka is a generic name that can't be trademarked just as an extra fuck you.

this particular brand has a different name in my country as well, however the import slav stores also carry the original and it's varieties.

It's vodka, as long as you don't go blind who cares? The lack of taste is the whole point.

I once asked a bunch of bar tenders whether Grey Goose vodka was really that good, and every single one of them said to buy Belvedere Vodka instead if I wanted to waste my money on expensive vodka.
After taste testing them both, Grey Goose is vile.
I actually prefer Jacquins vodka, which is basically just cheap stuff.

This is actually a really fucking substandard vodka. You have 100% swallowed the marketing kool aid on this paintstripper. Best vodkas are always those that are distilled multiple times and more than at the very least five to ten with the smoothest and best tasting still being Purity (34 times).

Nonsense. You’ve clearly never drunk it. It’s one of the smoothest tasting on the market. But yes, it was specifically made and branded to create an ‘elite’ vodka market which it succeeded at spectacularly seeing as it was the forerunner for all the rest.
