I've got all purpose flour, butter, vanilla extract, whole milk, salt, baking powder, yeast and baking cocoa. What are some simple breads I can make that won't take forever or that just about any retard can make?

Just made some cheddar scones for the SO since the poor sap isn't good at cooking but they give me an easy life so I'd don't mind. Thank you OP for only decent thread I've seen today.

Update
Recipe said bake 20 minutes and that was a lie, had to double the baking time and I'm still not sure the middle has set.

You’re probably either not using the same material of pan they’re using, affecting the heat conductivity, or your oven thermometer is off

>> No.12953965

>>12953955
Pretty sure I know a cast iron pan when I see one.
Thermometer could be off but no way of checking.

Final update
Middle has set. Overall a little chewier than I prefer in a cookie but for the bigg cooke format it's fine.
Top came out light and glossy like in a brownie, which was unexpected.

I do, good pairing.

Alright then it’s definitely your oven. Did you trust the “beep” of your oven or did you let it preheat for an hour plus? Most home ovens aren’t actually at the temperature they say they are

>> No.12954132
