Every time I watch this I cry. It brings me back to simpler times. My parents were too poor to buy me a Nintendo so during December, every time we went food shopping my dad would buy a 2 liter bottle of pepsi for me and my sister and we were so excited because we always thought we were going to win. We didn't but it was still fun, driving to the Waldbaums next to the Pergament and walking around seeing all the holiday displays and sometimes going to the toys r us and buying a random cheap toy that we would go ballistic for. Fast forward to today, stores are devoid of any of that Christmas spirit, my dad passed away due to brain cancer and my sister is an obese alcoholic that hates me and my mom. I never had a family of my own to pass this feeling onto. I think of suicide daily and I came to realize that a man can kill himself once the crushing pain of depression overcomes his internal instinct of self preservation which I don't think I am that far from overcoming. This will be my first Thanksgiving/Christmas literally spent alone (mom is grieving still in Europe and sis is a cunt) I don't know if I will make it bros.
