I used to deliver pizzas, and if this happened somehow in the car, i'd just call the customer on my way back to the store to get more pizzas and then hook him up with something for free. Most customers are edgy /ck/ posters and actually tipped me because I would actually try delivering quickly and if there was ever a problem, i'd fix it.

This. I really don't understand the "entitled delivery driver" meme and have never encountered someone demanding tips for a shitty job whether it be a driver, waiter, bartender or whatever. Most people see tips as a motive to perform the job better and those who make a big deal and feel entitled to tips are typically assholes to begin with.
