There are people who build their life around weed, so I thought it would be spectacular or... at least interesting. But like most things, it was a completely ordinary and underwhelming experience. There's no reason it shouldn't be legal everywhere, it's harmless. Less effective than alcohol, to be sure.

Weed gives you a perception of enhanced smell and taste, along with other senses like color and sound. It melds pretty well with things like music, video games and cooking. Similar to how the physical and emotional numbing effect of alcohol is desirable to people who want to suppress their inner thoughts, pick fights with people at the bar, or sound superior on Internet message boards by talking about the regional craft beer or elite wine they're drinking.

Weed simply works well with my hobbies. And while it's not addictive, you can most certainly become dependant on it.
