What’s your favourite nut? Mine are cashews. Not as nutritious as some of the others but so damn addictive.

>> No.12904454

Pistachios or good ol' dry roasted unsalted peanuts. Boiled peanuts are great too.

I like roasting almonds to the point they almost taste burnt, and when i take 'em out the oven, their skin crackles.

I think cashews are too soft. I pretty much like all others but I think macadamia nuts are best. But they're expensive, so I usually get walnuts which seem to be the cheapest.

yeah gotta be cashews. Delicious and cheaper than some of the other primo nuts like macadamia. Perfect balance of flavor and cost. Though peanuts are close.

I don't like cashews or macademia much. They are creamy and have a light flavour, a bit uninteresting. Peanuts are similar, but they are usually cheap and just a snack that is everywhere so I eat them from time to time.

Walnuts and hazelnuts are the best. Stronger flavours and that skin that is slightly bitter and feels dry, similar to a grape skin. Even though they are the nuts that I was eating first as a kid they are still the most interesting.

>What’s your favourite nut?
peanuts
they're the perfect nut (cut in the culinary sense, not botanical sense, don't tell me they aren't real nuts)
growing them is easy on the environment because they can get their nitrogen from the air, needing less fertilizer.
they're cheap
and they taste great.
