How can people not consider coffee a drug? I understand it is functional but I could say the same thing with my experience on mushrooms. Nowadays the rhetoric is that it just block melotinin but I've also reading that it can trigger adrenaline-like responses. Granted I will have a cup of espresso like once in a while but the effects make me more intense than when I've done a couple lines of coke. It seems like we just all agree it makes work more tolerable and I won't cost the company money. It also keeps the modern day insomniac awake. Thoughts? Anyone have a favorite brand of whole bean? One that is soothing and not too nutty would be preferable.

I had one cup of espresso and my thoughts are racing fast as fuck and it is acting as a stimulant. Your response is hippy-esque in that it avoids addressing how it affects the body.
