I made mint tea and it was fucking disgusting. It had very little mint flavor and just tasted real leafy. How do I make it taste good?

Try muddling/bruising the leaves and steeping them for longer

Don't add the stem. Also use many more leaves.

Mint tea is only good with way more mint. Also has to be very fresh.

You need to use like 4x the number of leaves than that, the leaves shrivel down to almost nothing when dried. 1tbsp on dried tea is like an entire medium to large size mint plant.

Mint has the tendency to hybridize with other mint varieties leading to muddy flavours. Try to use a pure peppermint variety. Creates the best tasting tea imo, like 'after eight' mints if you like that kind of thing.
