What are the your favorite vegetarian foods?
For me its the bean and cheese burrito. Literally all you need.
>Carbs
>Sodium
>Protein
>Gives you all the energy you need
>Is cheap, easy and tastes great
Its a hard one to top.

And no, you don't need to be a vegetarian to like vegetarian food.

Your still paying for their abuse. What do they do to them when they no longer produce milk? What do they do to them directly after birth? What do they do to the males?

Grilled cheese, pizza, mac and cheese, etc. Basically any starch + cheese is good.

What abuse? Cows need to be milked. They writhe in pain if they aren't. And honestly a free range life is better than a "farm" life. Going "vegan" is not helpful to animals. Consuming free rage products from local farms is fine. Farm animals are just that. Animals. I'm not saying everything they do is "good" but what else are they supposed to do to the males? they have no room for all of them. The ones they need they keep, the rest, well thats just life. Cows are a domestic animal and as such its life and species are in subject to and under direct control of man and as such are a tool.

This video has some misinformation in it but its still good. Also the cause of our death is just basically ourselves. Most people are living day to day not "thinking" about their kids, kids. Sad thing is that if just 10% of the planet would really and I mean really take an objective unbias stance an learn about our problems, why things are they way they are and how we can fix it than we could be a space faring species.

>cows need to be milked
Not if they aren't forcefully impregnated
>going vegan is not helpful to the animals
Yes it is. Pic related.
>farm animals are just that, animals (justification to abuse them)
Reread the fpbp

Vegetarians are traitorous scum, proven once again. Wake yourself up OP.

How do you feel about meat alternatives?
vegan chicken nuggets and bacon are honestly better than the real thing in my experience.

cows produce milk for a long time.
And no its really not. Sheep also need to be sheared. Im not saying the ones that are growing pounds of wool are humane but they need to be regardless of the amount they produce. Mice need to be kept in check. Deer need to be hunted to keep the balance by man or carnivores. If they aren't they over eat and graze.
Invasive crabs need to be exterminated or they will kill the reefs they inhabit. Seals need to be kept in check (not like they need it now) or they will eat all of their own food.
Eating vegan products is great and healthy but just refusing to let animals help man in any way is illogical. It can be done humanly.

I'd probably eat them more often if they were cheaper, some are pretty tasty. The chicken nuggets and fish sticks come close to the real thing. Other ones are still tasty but don't come close enough to be actual substitutes.

Moreover most people aren't going vegetarian or vegan for the right reason. I don't eat meat because I don't need it and I don't want animals to suffer at the hands of men not knowing the harm they do and the ones who do. I also don't wan't to eat the poison in them.
I have more reasons but thats all I really need to explain. But animals do have a purpose in life. Im not justifying torture or abuse but not letting any animal help is again, illogical.

Yea I understand. Its annoying how much it can be at times but I think its worth it if you have the money. The hardest part for most people is probably the cost. But once most people try it they usually really like it.

Cook the lentils and rice together in one pan (1 and 1/2 to 2 times water to dry ingredients, depending on how crunchy or soft you prefer), just bring it to a boil and then simmer, try not to stir until done and then just fluff it with a fork. Seasoning is usually whatever I have handy, typically Indian flavors, but also good plain with a bit of soy sauce. Lentil sprouts are really easy to grow, just cover with water and soak overnight in a glass jar, then rinse and drain once or twice a day, takes about 3-4 days and they last at least a week or so. I prefer the lentil sprouts to the basic alfalfa, much nuttier flavor and less like generic filler. Red winter wheat aka wheat berries also make good sprouts for some variety.

cheese is nasty.
eat non fat yogurt instead
500g of plain non fat yogurt has only 280 calories
280 calories of chedder cheese is only 70 grams.

So basically, you can eat a big bowl of yogurt, or a little piece of cheese. what do you choose? The yogurt, obviously. You can add aspartame to it to give it some flavor, or even add some flavored whey powder.

Eggs are vegetarians. Ethically I find that it's also alright to exchange shelter from fox and food for eggs with a bunch of chickens so long as you give them enough space to run around freely.
To each their own, there is no invalid opinion so long as people aren't just vomitting another person's opinion they read online.

>What are the your favorite vegetarian foods?

In general, dishes that just happen to not contain meat.

Meat substitutes are often terrible, whereas dishes that just weren't supposed to have meat in the first place can be great.

In no particular order:
Rice pudding
Flatbread with falaffel
Pizza magarita
French onion soup
Lentil stew
Cheese on rye bread
Bean and chili stew
In strict contradiction to my first two paragraphs, lasagne where the meat is substituted with lentils or lentils and beans
