Do Brits really love cheese and crackers so much?

Also, we have so many varieties of cheese in America, I always ate cheese and crackers, but find it odd many others don't, preferring Dorritos

Yep. Love crackers. Sometimes just have some soft butter on them. Other toppings I like are liver pate, cheddar, cucumber, ham, tomato, even slices of raw garlic.

Other day I mashed up a tin of sardines in tomato sauce with some olive oil and vinegar. Delicious on crackers.

American here. I love a good plate of cheese and crackers at a dinner party. During the summer my family used to serve white cheddar, water crackers, and slices of grilled Polish sausage with real intestine casing for appetizers. It’s fuckin’ dank.

Had cheese and crackers at a friends a while back, not being a massive cheese enthusiast but enjoying it I think I over indulged, Boursin, cheddar, blue with grapes and crackers and within 2 hours I was violently sick and shitting through the eye of a needle, propped I’ll!
