Kraft singles and that individually wrapped plastic stuff is awful.

But in a lot of grocery stores you can go to the deli counter and ask for half a pound (or whatever) of "American cheese" and they slice something up in front of you. I don't know exactly what that stuff is, but it's not at all the same as kraft singles. That stuff is OK for sandwiches etc
