The food is fucking fantastic, it would do well in the states (hearty portions of meat, bread, potatoes in all kinds of variations). Easily executed as fast food, cafe, or upscale joint. I'd love to do it but restaraunts are worse than casinos for investment returns.

The only Russian style fast food I’ve seen in the US is a perogi food truck, which was okay but not great, good for once in a while, very heavy and a little bland as far as seasonings etc even their sriracha perogi plate was bland as fuck. Also went to a Russian cafe that served perogis and chicken dumpling soup. The perogis were forgettable but the soup was phenomenal.
