I had dental surgery and have been on liquid/soft foods for over a week now. Pretty sure I'm good to move onto real food and just got an email about this new pizza from a place down the street. Thoughts?

They took the tooth. I'm getting the stitches out tomorrow morning so if something goes wrong I'll at least be in the chair in a few hours. It's been nothing but soup and cottage cheese for a week, and the past couple days I moved onto lentils and soft potatoes. I'm still on Norco and want to treat myself.

I took a couple bites and tried to chew on the one side of my mouth, but there was definitely still some sensitivity. Fortunately I went in for a quality pizza that came with an opioid table included.

Welp. Must have gone into a brief food coma for a bit there. In any case, this is actually really good. It's like the classic CPK bbq chicken pizza, but instead of bbq chicken it's hawaiian pizza with applewood smoked bacon, and instead of bbq sauce it's this serrano "bbq" sauce from that meme LA food truck that was on all the food shows like a decade ago for doing Korean-Mexican fusion. If you live near a Pizza Guys I'd recommend picking one up before the end of the month while they're on sale.
