Spaghetti has no purpose when this exists

You’re actually right, harder to make though.

I make ghetto cheat lasagnaish stuff by layering regular egg noodles with white and tomato sauces and ground beef

Spaghetti is about $20 for a big ass pot of it. for an equivalent amount of lasagna it would cost at least 60$

Based. Here's my recipe:
>grate carrot, onions and garlic proportionate to the amount of ground meat you are using
>sweat the vegetables on mid-high heat, salt and pepper
>make a well and add the meat, cook on high, condiment with salt pepper and dry oregano
>add tomato sauce, just a table spoon or enough to give color on the meat
>deglaze with red wine, make sure to scrap the shit out of your cooking pot with that wooden spoon
>wait until it is like syrup
>add more tomato sauce, some woscester sauce, teaspoon of sugar and milk
>let simmer

>prepare white sauce with nutmeg

>get cottage cheese or philadelphia-like cheese and beat it up with an egg plus fresh basil

>start layering however you feel like
>finish up with that glorious grated cheese on top, pepper and dry herbs
>get into the oven until cheese is melted and toasty

The other day I switched some leftover lentils I had with the ground beef, it was still quite amazing. Lasagna is God's chosen pasta.

Carpet Pappardelle is just starchy garbage you hide your crappy Sunday sauce underneath. You probably don't even make your own rocchetta. Stick to your inner tube stuffed cannelloni pasta.

Not him, but I like to go a bit heavy on meatballs. Meat usually jacks up the price. Way I eat it is almost more meat than noodles. Like it's some kind of meat stew with a bit of noodles on the side.

>>12840044
Fuck off anon, your so called recipe is one for disaster. You want crunch on top of your lasagna and you'd want the veggies in the sauce to keep a certain consistency. Otherwise might as well drench spaghetti in tomato sauce and béchamel. I went back to read it, you don't even mention mozzarella and the cheese you put on top is "grated cheese". You're not cooking, you have no respect for the art form, you're just randomly putting bargain bin ingredients together in the hopes that it vaguely resembles some frozen food you used to have. Get your shit together.
