Because they crave meat. Vegans always do this. Watch at least one vegan ''what i eat in a day'' video and you'll see. They always put some red sauce over their ''food'' because they want blood. They are mentally ill. That's why they are obsessed with going to slaughter houses. They pretend that they want to educate people about ''how animals suffer'', but in reality they want to eat the meat and drink blood.

Can you imagine the adrenaline of killing a deer with your bare hands, eating his raw meat while still warm and drinking his blood? Is there anything that screams more "I'M ALIVE" than killing? This is literally one of the alternatives happy scenarios that I make for my future in my mind, the one where I became a complete savage after the collapse of civilization, I would even rank this one far higher than the one where I become a complete hedonist having sex all day, I was reading Lord of the flies recently and I'm pretty sure that slaughtering animals and dancing around a fire with my frenz could make me happy, but we could cut the part of killing each other, desu I don't know which part would be best, slaughtering animals or dancing around the fire, I studied in a military school and there was a feeling when we were all marching equal and literally screaming the same songs or battle cries that is hard to describe, a feeling of belonging, like if in that moment, we were all equal, we were all one, maybe I should just go out more and socialize more, now this is too big but I don't want to delete it, hope you enjoyed the reading.

Actually baked wings can be pretty good, but you need to melt a stick of butter in a pot, and individually dip each wing into it before baking

Saving the best for last. 3 hours in a crockpot until they're falling off the bone, then seared and crisped in a kettle grill over coals. Lots of work, but worth it.

this is my last post. Co2 levels might be higher now than ever before, sure. But its not the CAUSE of climate change. The climate has been changing since before cars were invented; Millions of years worth of climate change and its happened drastically 100 times.

https://www.bgs.ac.uk/discoveringGeology/climateChange/general/causes.html
>the primary cause of global warming is not Co2 levels alone

There is
>deforestation
>jet stream and ocean currents
>the sun and earths orbit and axis
>volcanoes
>etc

There are many things that are out of our control, and things in our control, like deforestation. Ive seen hills stripped bare of all trees and not just in one place. We've been destroying the ONLY thing that can save the planet because green plants absorb Co2

It's not like people go vegan because meat tastes bad. Meat tastes good, and he still wants to experience that type of flavour, but not at the expense of a living thing.

Yeah. Most of them just don't like the killing part to get the meat. A lot of people who eat meat will still admit that part of it is unpleasant, even if it's necessary. A lot of vegans will start eating lab-grown meat when it's available though, because it's technically real meat, but nothing had to be killed for it.

You're confusing already available plant-based "meat" with lab-grown meat. Lab-grown meat is still being developed, it's not available for purchase yet, and is actually real meat being produced through culturing.

I made this point in my podcast last week. It's good to know lots of other people work out these conclusions.
Nothing is solved by veganism. slaughtered animals just go off because less people to buy them so they get thrown in the bin instead of giving someone nutrition.
It has to be an "everyone or no one" system to be viable and it will never be everyone.

If meat consumption reduces humans will slaughter less animals based on what they sell. You're implying that everything's fixed and the butcher doesn't look at their stall at the end of the day thinking about how to waste less money.
This being said, I agree with you about KFC being terrible to animals and american vegans being a joke if they just go there to have imitation chicken.

>u're implying that everything's fixed and the butcher doesn't look at their stall at the end of the day thinking about how to waste less money.
You're right that this would work if it was still small butchers, running small businesses and making these good decisions... but it's not.
Huge supermarkets fuck this up very frequently. They won't reduce stock because that leaves the potential to run out of stock which they don't want. They don't care about the minute amount of money wasted by not selling produce that goes bad.
In the UK on a Sunday, stores close at 16:00. Go in at 15:50 and there is a shole half aisle dedicated to reduced produce. There is always a huge amount of meat left after people have gone through about bought the discounted meat. Staff are only going to take so much home. The rest is thorn into waste as mandate.
We're all part of the problem, I'd be happy to just use a small local butcher to buy local produce, but I'm not going to when super markets make it cheaper and easier. Because me making a change won't make a difference. If I stopped buying meat from huge chains, I'm still funding them when I buy other groceries and they will still use that funding for their meat products.
I did go to a farm shop on Saturday, bought some of their farmed eggs a couple onions, one onion was half rotten inside. This is the other problem when the friendly local alternative is shit and just as expensive because they are a niche and don't have enough regular custom to be viable.

If you are a stone-cold vegan, who hates that animals are killed for food, so you avoid meat and poultry and won't wear even leather or buy ANY products make from animals. Why in the world would you want to recreate an 'accurate' taste of cooked animal flesh/muscle?

For what purpose?

Not a vegan but... yeah. We DO have a biological imperative to eat some meat with our plant based foods. A lot of vegans however become vegan because they have moral qualms with "exploiting" animals. For them "fake meat" is the ideal solution.

I don't get why veganism is the hip new meme over vegetarianism though. There are perfectly morally sound ways to keep cows and extract their milk, or to get honey from a beehive. And let's not forget that unfertilized chickens drop eggs all the damned time, so it'd practically be a waste to not eat them.

I've listened to some of his videos while working because they popped up in my reccomended. I hate how he erything he makes is "good" and "meaty." And It makes me cringe whever he overjoyfully says, "I coulld definately fool some meat eaters with this!!!" Or some variant, implying he would put some weird shit into someones food without telling them.

A vegan cousin did this to me before when I was a teenager and it was really creepy. She was staring at me intently just to tell me what I had eaten wasn't real chicken. Instantly made me guess the other ingredients she might have snuck in and it made me feel queasy. I would have tried it if she said it before hand, but she got off on being secretive or something. Her 4 year old kid at the time was also ""vegan"" and was the smallest damn 4 year old I had ever seen.

thats borderline child abuse. I hate parents who force their kids on some meme diet, the child cant give consent or know any better. Kids need all the nutrients they can get for brain development, its a very crucial time. Proteins, amino acids, omega oils...
